[Southern_AZ_MWS] Reminder: Arundo Work Day - Sabino Canyon - Sat. Feb. 12

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
What: Sabino Canyon Arundo Removal
When: Sat., Feb. 11, 8 a.m.-12 noon

Where: Sabino Canyon Recreation Area - meet outside the visitor¹s center a
little before 8. If you don¹t have a valid parking pass, notify the gate
keeper you are part of this volunteer effort and they will waive you
through.

Wear: Closed-toe shoes or boots (no sandals), long sleeve shirt and long
pants, hat, sunglasses

Bring: Water, sunscreen. Tools and gloves will be provided

Objective: We will be digging Arundo rhizomes above and below Rattlesnake
Creek.

Next Public work day (location: Fenster School, just south of Sabino Rec.
Area): Sat. Mar. 12 (second Sat of the month)
