Hi Stewards!
I'm looking for a few people that can help out with a World Water Monitoring
Day Event for local 6th grade schools. Your primary duty would be to teach
kids about bio-assessment using the Macroinvertebrate Packs like we've used
in MWS classes. Remember?!? This is the fun activity where you collect
water samples and look at the living organisms in the water to determine how
healthy the water is!
What: World Water Monitoring Day
Where: Indian Steel Park, Phoenix
When: Thursday, October 18th from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
You will be working with people from ADEQ who will have a Water Quality
booth set up at the park.
Please let me know by Friday, October 5th if you're interested in
volunteering for this event and I will work with you to make sure you have
the appropriate teaching tools and materials!
Thanks!
Candice
