Dear Stewards,

2010 is in full swing and we are very excited about all of the upcoming
events! To keep the new year spirit going we wanted to take a moment to
share an important reminder with you:

We would like to remind you to please log in to the volunteer tracking tool
and *record your hours**.* *(see info below for instructions for registering
for the first time and recording your hours)*. We want to acknowledge your
commitment and recognize all of the Stewards and their activities around the
state!

This essential tool helps us stay up to date on all of the great things you
all are doing. Registering and entering your hours takes just a few moments
- so if you have not logged in to record your volunteer hours, or you have
not registered as yet - *please do so today**!* Logging your hours is
critical for sustaining our program and helps in many ways – including
letting us know what is going on in each of our watersheds - so thank you
for keeping that going!

And as always, please let us know if we can be of service to you in any way.

Sincerely,
Leigh Toltz
AZ MWS Volunteer Coordinator

*Below are Instructions on registering if needed.
*
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*How to log your volunteer hours:
*
Directions for using the tracking tool are attached to this email and can be
found on the MWS website as well.

The volunteer tracking website is available on the updated MWS website,
under the "For Stewards" section, the direct link is
http://cals.arizona.edu/watershedsteward/

*(Helpful Tip: You can also save time by bookmarking the link or by adding
it to your Internet favorites!)*
If it is your first time logging into the system, you'll need a temporary
volunteer ID to access the site.

Access the tracking tool from the MWS homepage or from the link above, then
use the following information as your temporary ID and password. (You may
want to write this information down as you will use it every time you access
this database to log your hours.)

*Temporary Volunteer ID: acevol at cals.arizona.edu

http://acevol@cals.arizona.edu/
*
*Passphrase: UNeed2ChangeIt!
*
You'll need to immediately change the temporary ID and passphrase to reflect
your personal email and desired passphrase. Go to "My Info" to create your
Volunteer ID, account password, and to enter your first and last names.
Follow the directions, then click on the 'Save My Login' button. When asked
for your "subprogram" you will just use the drop down arrow to identify your
watershed.

After saving your personal information (see attached step by step
instructions) you are ready to enter in your volunteer hours and continuing
education units/time for 2009! Also, if you volunteer for more than one
Cooperative Extension program this system will allow you to maintain your
User ID and enter in information for the Master Watershed Steward as well as
other programs such as Master Gardener or 4-H.

Good Luck!
