2008 Monsoon Season Wrap-up and Fall Outlook

10:00 am, October 2nd, 2008

University of Arizona Cooperative Extension and the Climate Assessment for
the Southwest will be hosting an online climate briefing for extension
faculty, natural resource managers, and interested citizens on October 2nd,
2008 at 10:00 am. MST. This meeting will consist of a climate briefing
presentation followed by a question and answer period.
Presentation topics will include:

* Recap of monsoon season precipitation, weather patterns, and extreme
events (National Weather Service Forecast Offices)
* Seasonal Climate Forecasts for Fall 2008/Winter 2008-09 (University of
Arizona)
