[Arid_gardener] pre emergent weed control

Margaret:
This is a good time to apply a pre-emergent herbicide.  It will prevent any
new weeds from germinating.  It will not, however, kill any young weeks that
have already germinated, unless you tank mix a contact herbicide and spray
at the same time.  Something with the chemical name of glyphosate would
control the baby weeds.  Be careful not to get any spray on any live plants,
however because it would damage those too.
