Possibly a little freezing the past winter.  Or too much nitrogen which
can cause the fruit to become large and pulpy with thick rinds.  Or a 
phosphorus deficiency.  Try using a "complete" citrus fertilizer and 
follow instructions on the bag as to frequency and amount.  If possible, 
bring a sample to the diagnostic clinic at Master Gardener Office at the 
P.O.R.A. building in SCW on Thursday, May 4, at 10:00am for analysis and 
diagnosis.
