Hi, I have a Chilean Mesquite in my front yard (desert landscaped. My neighbor has some palm trees 30 ft away behind a wall. The roots are crossing and upheaving his wall to get to water. How can I inhibit the root growth without killing the tree. We have tried to dig trenches, but the roots pass under the trenches. Thanks Eric
